قنداق یا قنداق فرنگی در سیسمونی
قنداق از آن چیزهایی است که مدت زیادی است ور افتاده، اما معلوم نیست چرا هنوز در فهرست سیسمونی بعضی ها هست. بستن قنداق از نظر همه پزشکان مضر است و به جز این که مانع گردش خون صحیح و تکان خوردن دست و پای بچه می شود، چیز دیگری ندارد.
قدیمی ها می گفتند بچه وقتی دست و پایش تکان نخورد، راحت تر می خوابد، اما الان پزشکان معتقدند این کار مانع پیشرفت قابلیت های حرکتی نوزاد می شود.
به تازگی در فروشگاه های سیسمونی وسیله دیگری با عنوان قنداق فرنگی (با مارک the first years) فروخته می شود که کارکردش شبیه قنداق های قدیمی است.
پارچه کوچکی که با چسب بسته می شود و نسبتا هم گران است. بعضی ها برای سیسمونی این قنداق را می خرند، در حالی که فرق چندانی با قنداق قدیمی ندارد و به همان اندازه هم بی استفاده است.
